Eduroam for visiting academics or students from another university
Please note: eduroam configuration is specific to your home institution. If you have not configured eduroam previously, then you will need to contact your home IT service desk for assistance in configuring eduroam on your laptop/pda/phone before you will be able to use the service at Monash.
 Eduroam is a wireless service provided by a federation of academic institutions who offer an internet connection to
the users of all other member institutions through eduroam
- 'education roaming'.
The eduroam service is intended for:
- visitors to a Monash campus from other academic institutions, and
- Monash staff/students visiting other academic institutions who require internet access and
connectivity back to the Monash network.
A client can login to a wireless access point, using their home university
account, to any eduroam wireless network at participating campuses
around Australia and the world and gain access to the internet.
The eduroam service is available at all Monash University Australian campuses as well as the Monash University city offices.
