Voicemail on leave options
IP Voicemail service
Before proceeding please read this page and the Voicemail guidelines document, taking particular note of the discussion of personal greetings. It is recommended, when going on leave, that you record an appropriate personal
greeting in your voicemail box to advise your callers that you will be unavailable.
If you experience difficulties establishing the service, please submit a request through the
Servicedesk.
Note: The message retention time in the system is 30 days. Messages left longer than 30 days will be lost
The alternate greeting can be enabled / disabled during specific time periods when you wish to indicate special circumstances such as being on leave.
To enable or disable your alternate greeting using the touchtone keys
- Log on to Voicemail. (Dial: 27027 & enter your pin # )
- Press 4 1.
- Voicemail plays your current greeting. You can press # to skip hearing it.
- Press the applicable keys for the greeting that you want to change:
- After Voicemail plays the greeting, use the following keys to change it and follow any additional prompts:
