Procurement and leasing

Multifunction devices can either be purchased or leased from ITS procurement.

Disposal of fax machines/multifunction devices

With the introduction of Monash Fax, some equipment in your department may become obsolete. For those machines owned by your department or Faculty, binning these old machines is no longer the only option available to you.

Monash has a wide range of social or environmentally conscience policies that can be adopted for the disposal of old or disused equipment.

Some options for disposing of your equipment using Monash's solutions include:

1. Selling fax machine(s): fax machine(s) can be advertised in the Monash Equipment Recycling Bulletin for sale to other departments and individuals.
   
2. Donate your fax machine to a charitable organisation. Three charities that Monash University have identified are: The Salvation Army, Brotherhood of St. Laurence and St. Vincent de Paul.
